Live with a student pilot

Know how placement-ready your students are. Before the season starts.

AimPlacement gives every student a personalised prep path, and gives faculty, HODs, placement officers and your principal one honest, shared view of where the institution actually stands.

The problem

Most placement cells find out too late

Attendance registers say who turned up. Mock-test spreadsheets say who scored what, once. Neither tells a HOD in September which twenty students will struggle in January — while there is still time to do something about it.

The data is scattered

Practice results in one sheet, mock scores in another, drive shortlists in a third, and nothing joins them back to a student.

"Prepared" is a guess

Without a consistent measure, readiness is whoever the faculty happens to remember. The quiet students disappear.

Reports cost a week

Every management review means someone rebuilding the same numbers by hand, and no two reviews end up comparable.

One platform, every role

Everyone sees exactly their own slice

The same underlying numbers, rolled up to whoever is looking. Access is scoped by role — a faculty member sees their classes, a HOD their department, and no more.

StudentsDaily practice, timed mock assessments with instant solutions, weak-topic drill-downs, a resume analyser with JD matching, and a readiness score that explains every point.
FacultyTheir assigned classes: who is practising, who has gone quiet, and which topics the class as a whole is failing.
HODsDepartment analytics — topic heatmaps, readiness over time, class-vs-class comparison, and a risk list to act on.
Placement officersCompanies, drives and eligibility, plus the registered → shortlisted → selected funnel for the whole college.
PrincipalsInstitution readiness, department rankings, risk distribution and the placement funnel — exportable for management review.
AdminsYour college administers itself: departments, class groups, staff accounts and invitation codes. No support ticket to add a teacher.
What's inside

Built for a placement cell that has to answer to management

Scoring

Explainable readiness

A transparent, decay-weighted score per student — recent work counts for more. Staff can open any number and see the components behind it. Never a black box.

Assessment

Real mock tests

Timed and scored on the server, with answer-leak protection and resume-on-refresh, so a dropped connection doesn't cost a student their attempt.

Early warning

Risk radar

Rule-based risk scoring with stated reasons. A student nobody has assessed is flagged as unassessed — never quietly counted as safe.

Placements

Drives and funnel

Create a drive, set eligibility, and track registration through shortlist to selection. Rejections and no-offers are recorded too, so the funnel tells the whole story.

Analytics

Department insight

Topic heatmaps, readiness timelines and class comparisons, each scoped to the role that opens them.

Reporting

One-click exports

Institution, department and placement reports out to CSV, Excel and PDF — the same definitions every time, ready for a review deck.

Resume

Resume analyser

A score, ATS checks, strengths, and a priority-ordered action plan for every student who uploads a CV.

Matching

Job-description match

Match percentage and the exact skill gaps for any JD or campus drive — deterministic, so the same resume and JD always give the same answer.

Outcomes

Complete placement outcomes

Selected, rejected and no-offer all tracked, with a season close-out — so the placement rate counts students placed, not offer rows.

In development

Coming next

Being built now, and deliberately not part of what we would promise your pilot. Partner colleges get them first as they land.

In development

AI prep assistant

A tutor that works from a student's own weak topics rather than a generic syllabus.

In development

Interview simulator

Practice rounds with feedback, so the first mock interview isn't the real one.

The principal's view

Your whole institution on one screen

Overview cards, institution readiness trend, department comparison and ranking, risk distribution and the placement funnel — live, from the same data your students generate by practising. Then exported in one click when management asks.

Illustrative layout. Real figures appear once your students start practising.

Before you hand over student data

The questions your IT department will ask

Worth reading properly. These are design decisions in the product, not promises in a policy document.

Your college is isolated

Several colleges share one deployment, and every query is scoped to yours. Staff, students, companies and drives from another campus are not reachable from your account.

Nobody registers by accident

Registration is invitation-only by default. Codes are issued by your own admin, and a code can only ever create a student or faculty account — never a privileged one.

Scores you can defend

Readiness is a stated formula, not a model. When a student or a parent asks why a number is what it is, you can answer precisely.

You administer yourself

Your admin creates departments, classes, staff and codes without going through us. We do not need standing access to your data to run your college.

Getting started

Start with one batch

The honest way to evaluate this is to run it — one department, one semester, real students. You will know whether the numbers are useful to your HOD before committing the whole college.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

How long does setup take?

A pilot for one batch can be live within a few days. We create your departments, class groups and invitation codes; students join with a single code and verify their email. No integration with your existing systems is required.

Do you need our existing student data?

No. The platform generates its own signal from practice and assessments, so it works from day one on a batch we know nothing about. Placement outcomes build up as you run drives.

Is the readiness score a black box?

No. It is a transparent, decay-weighted formula, and every component is visible to staff. A student who has never been assessed is shown as unassessed rather than being given a flattering default.

Can students see each other's results?

No. Students see only their own work. Staff see only the students their role covers — a faculty member their classes, a HOD their department.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your student count, so we quote per college — for the pilot and for the whole institution — rather than publishing a rate card.

Can we export reports for management?

Yes — institution, department and placement reports to CSV, Excel and PDF. The same definitions every time, so two reviews are actually comparable.
